Funding may be possible. The fit must be verified first.
Some nonprofit, public-sector and employer training projects may fit a current or future funding program. EDS identifies likely pathways and prepares accurate vendor documentation. The funding agency controls eligibility, allowable costs, procurement, deadlines and awards.
Connecticut nonprofit security funding
Up to $50,000 per eligible site. The 2026 state application window closed September 4; the next federal NSGP round is expected in spring 2027 — the time to build your training scope and vendor documents is now. Current state materials emphasize security infrastructure; training allowability must be confirmed with the agency.
Federal nonprofit security funding
The federal program has allowed security training and exercises tied to an identified vulnerability. The 2026 round is closed — prepare for the next cycle now.
Employer workforce training support
Employer training support may be available through regional workforce boards. Fit must be confirmed with the board in writing.
Some qualifying organizations may use grant funds for approved planning, equipment, training or exercises. Eligibility, allowable costs, procurement requirements, deadlines and awards are controlled by the funding agency. EDS Training does not guarantee funding.
